Clay – Uku

Clay modelling has many educational benefits for kids. Clay-modelling activities improve our child's hand-eye coordination, motor skills, dexterity, creativity, and attention span. Our tamariki enjoyed playing with clay, putting their imagination and creativity in making different toys, fruits, rocks, foods they eat. It was a very fun-filled activity since one advantage of clay is its versatility, our little Kea children explored making many different objects through clay modelling with even a small amount of clay.
